Intel heeft zijn Binary Optimization Tool aangevuld met zeven nieuwe games. Deze feature zorgt ervoor dat games of andere workloads geoptimaliseerd worden voor de chips van team blauw, wat betere prestaties moet opleveren. Het bedrijf introduceerde IBOT in maart, samen met de Core Ultra 200S Plus-processors.
De bestaande lijst met IBOT-geoptimaliseerde games wordt aangevuld met Hollow Knight: Silksong, Homeworld 3, Little Nightmares III, Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, The Callisto Protocol en Warframe. Daarbij komt het totaal op 19 games. De prestatie-uplift varieert sterk, met een bereik van +2% tot +27% in 1080p high, in combinatie met een Core Ultra 7 270K Plus.
Wie een compatibele Intel-cpu heeft en met deze verbeteringen aan de slag wil, dient over de nieuwste versie van Intels Platform Performance Package te beschikken (26.06.100.32 of nieuwer). In dat programma is de Binary Optimization Tool terug te vinden, onder het tablad Optimization en wanneer de geavanceerde modus is ingeschakeld.
